Our Charity Work

Raising awareness around sudden cardiac arrests is extremely important to us. Knowing when to use a defibrillator is a crucial skill that could save someone’s life.

Over the past seven years, we’ve managed to raise over £12,000 to install ten defibrillators throughout our local area. We’ve made multiple radio appearances and are working to bring CPR and defibrillator training to our community. Our dedicated website allows you to learn more and see how you can make a difference. Why are we doing this?

Each year in Britain around 30,000 people are struck by sudden cardiac arrest outside of hospital environments. They can affect anyone at any time – from young children at school, to adults when they’re at home, work or out in public places.

If victims aren’t treated properly, more often than not, cardiac arrests are fatal. The British Heart Foundation’s figures show that only one in ten victims survives. There are a couple of reasons for this sorry figure – namely the lack of education and training.

If a defibrillator is used within 3-5 minutes of cardiac arrest, survival rates jump from 6% to 74%!

Here’s how you can help

Our customers can help without even lifting a finger by using our toner recycling scheme.

We collect and recycle empty ink and toner cartridges for free. We then donate all of the proceeds from the recycled toners to our defibrillator fund.

Using money generated from recycled toners, on top of our own fundraising, we’ve managed to raise over £12,000 to install defibrillators throughout the local area.
